What we measure today, and what the final document will state:
- Emails Clezio sends on a manager's behalf: we record delivery, opens and link clicks. Opens are detected with an invisible image and stay approximate, since many email clients block it or load it on their own. A manager can turn off the recording of opens for their organization.
- Documents sent for electronic signature (DocuSeal): we record when the document is viewed, when signing starts, and when it is signed or declined, with date and time. These are part of the signature evidence and cannot be turned off.
This information is used only to follow up on signature requests and to send reminders. It is never sold, used for advertising, or combined with other sources.
Text messaging and phone line
- Consent: the subscriber must obtain the tenant's consent before sending them a first text message, in accordance with Canada's anti-spam legislation. The tenant may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP; Clezio then blocks any further message to that number.
- Calls: the voice assistant states in its first sentence that it is automated and that the call is recorded. The subscriber cannot turn this announcement off.
- Language: the voice assistant answers in French by default, in line with Quebec language requirements, and switches to English if the caller speaks English.
- Responsibility: the subscriber remains responsible for the communications sent on their behalf, for their content, and for complying with the rules that govern the landlord-tenant relationship.
- Permitted use: these services are for communicating with tenants. Sending bulk promotional messages is not permitted.
